It's gold that has been hammered into thin sheets through a process called goldbeating, commonly used for gilding. Gold leaf comes in various karats and shades—for these earrings, I use 22-karat rose gold leaf. These gold flake studs make a perfect gift, whether for someone special or as a treat for yourself.
WATERPROOF All my earrings are waterproof. You can wear them all day, no need to take them off when you take a shower. Be careful with a swimming pool, a glossy top coat may react with chlorine.
HYPOALLERGENIC All my earrings are Hypoallergenic. I made them with a surgical hypoallergenic steel post.
